People and organisation

Society is changing. RIVM is changing with it and is responding to the changes in the work environment. In 2013 RIVM took steps to prepare itself for the future.

In 2013 RIVM set out its strategy for its journey to 2020 in its so-called Route Map. RIVM’s ambitions on its journey to 2020 require the people in its organisation to continue to develop their expertise. In 2013 the RIVM Academy was set up to help them with this.

Naturally our scientific integrity remains a major asset. RIVM expects its employees to behave with scientific integrity. So in 2013 the RIVM Code of Conduct for Scientific Research was drawn up, among other things.

In 2013 the composition of the Board of Directors was changed. RIVM took its leave of two members and welcomed two new members.
